i enjoy creating people interacting within their spaces. this log cabin feels warm and cozy yet the background is cold and almost isolated. the characters within the room are relieved and relaxed even though it seems as if the cold from outside is coming into their room. i made this piece in the dead of winter where there was nothing to do but draw indoors on my ipad. at this time, i really became fascinated by interiors and how people exist within them. from this, i wanted to invent my own. thank you for looking!

In the beginning there was Void, who had two daughters; one was that of Being, named Eris, and the other was of Non-Being, named Aneris. Once sterile Aneris became jealous of Eris (who was born pregnant), and started making existent things non-existent. This series is my interpretation of the relationship between two sisters.

Born in France, SMOGONE was raised in Paris where he found a love for drawing. He started drawing at age 4 and at the age of 13, he moved to Florida. In the early 80’s, he was introduced to the Hip Hop culture and discovered graffiti . Over time, SMOGONE developed a 3D style of lettering and characters and is proudly a part of the XMEN Crew, FX Crew, and BSK Crew (Miami). SMOGONE started painting canvas in the mid 90’s and continued to develop his style. His primary focus on murals and canvas.
