The time: January 23rd, 2020. The place: SuperRare stadium. The massive arms of then World Crypto Wrestling’s (WCW) champion Hulk Token surrounded his poor opponent Psycho Seed’s neck. The “TOKENIZER” move. No one has ever escaped it. The crowd cheered like crazy. It was clearly only a matter of seconds before Psycho Seed loses consciousness, and Hulk Token gets to keep his belt, just as he has in the past three years of domination.
Suddenly, a shout caught the referee’s attention. It was Seed’s manager, the Million Bitcoin Man, who started a riot outside the ring, distracting the referee. At that moment – something happened, that would change Crypto Wrestling forever.

Monday Night Rare Show, Dec 7, 2020. Main event: Beastcoin (reigning champion) vs. Hulk Token for the championship belt
A chair came down hard on Token’s head. He passed out instantly. The crowd was astonished to see it was no other than Token’s best friend and tag team partner, BeastCoin, who had taken him out. He then quickly put Seed’s hand over Token’s chest, amazingly just as the Million Bitcoin Man decided to stop his protest. The ref then turned his attention to the wrestlers, and immediately started counting – 1..2..3! We have a new champion!
This nasty, never seen before trick shocked the wrestling world. It became known as the Crypto Screwjob.
That day, BeastCoin became a heel. Not long after, he became WCW champion after running over The UnderToken with a steam roller for over 15 minutes (while Million Bitcoin Man somehow distracted the referee).
Hulk Token swore revenge and promised his fans that he would slaughter BeastCoin the next time they met.
And now, the time has finally come. The two rivals are getting ready for the Championship fight on December 7th, on the Monday Night Rare show!

Monday Night Rare was created by Eran Mendel, who, as a 80’s-90’s kid, found himself clinging to the screen watching this absurdity with excitement. This project is a nostalgic nod to this amazing phenomenon called pro wrestling, specifically to the WWF and its flagship show “Monday Night Raw”.
