For PRØHBTD, crypto art isn’t a form or style, it means liberation, democratizing access and tagging blocks on the chain. Our art explores two central themes, FACE It and ESCAPE It, outwardly conflicting concepts that interconnect to bring harmony and balance through a state of chaos. Through the prism of these themes, we take on all forms of control with art that beautifies contrast, displaces institutions and redefines normal. 3.14% of all sales are donated to https://propeller.la/prohbtd

Jon Beinart is known for his strange intricate paintings and drawings as well as his Toddlerpede doll sculptures. Jon is also the owner/director of Beinart Gallery in Melbourne, Australia.

Mother of All Toddlerpedes
Edition 1 of 1

Jon Beinart will ship a small Toddlerpede doll sculpture to the winner of this auction. This is Jon Beinart’s largest Toddlerpede doll sculpture (2009) and was built with approximately 100 plastic baby dolls and a welded copper armature. The piece was significantly larger than the artist himself and was dismantled a few years after it’s creation. The doll parts were then reused to build other Toddlerpede sculptures. This photo was taken by Max Milne. Images of Jon’s Toddlerpedes were published in numerous art books and magazines over the years and frequently went viral online. Jon stumbled upon his Toddlerpede series by accident while messing around with plastic baby dolls. In 2002 he joined a few doll torsos together and noticed (to his delight) that they formed insect-like segments, and voilà, the infamous Toddlerpede was born. Jon found his creations adorable and hilarious and was initially surprised when people were offended and even shocked by them. Over the years, as his Toddlerpedes have spread all over the Internet, they have elicited strong reactions and have even been the subject of hate mail. Some people have found them endearing and amusing, while others have assumed that they are addressing issues, such as radiation and genetic mutation, or the subversion of childhood innocence. While Jon has enjoyed interpreting the unconscious meaning behind his Toddlerpedes and has even mused about their natural habitat and an alternate world in which they may have evolved, he prefers to leave them open to interpretation so that viewers can make up their own stories. Over the years, Jon’s Toddlerpedes evolved from small centipede- and scorpion-like creatures to complex hydra-like monstrosities with hundreds of doll torsos. The largest Toddlerpede was significantly larger than the artist himself. While Jon’s profile had grown with the notoriety of his Toddlerpedes, images of them were frequently shared online with no credit, so most people who encountered Toddlerpedes had no idea who had created them. While this bothered Jon at the beginning, he gradually came to accept that his babies had grown up and left home and had taken on a life of their own. Jon created his last Toddlerpede sculpture in 2011 and decided to move on and dedicate more time to drawing and painting.

The Wild Within – ‘Eternity’
Edition 1 of 1

‘Eternity’ is a piece from the series ‘The Wild Within’ by Ryan Koopmans and Alice Wexell. Based on real-world physical spaces, an animated rebirth into a digital realm has been created. During the Soviet Union, the Georgian town of Tskaltubo was a popular health destination famed for its therapeutic water and luxurious sanatoriums. Between the 1940’s to 1980’s thousands of people visited, including Stalin and his high-ranking officials from Moscow. When the Soviet Union collapsed, the buildings were deserted and fell into disrepair. Since the early 90’s, they have been slowly dismantled and stripped of their valuable materials, leaving empty shells of what were once grandiose classical structures. Koopmans visited this region over several years, exploring the ruins and photographing the spaces. Upon returning, in collaboration with Alice Wexell, they digitally introduced vegetation, manipulated the lighting and structure, added sound by Ross K, and animated the scenes with the intention of reviving the empty spaces, essentially bringing life back into the rooms. The results are a surreal collision between the past and future, as well as the physical and digital worlds. Some of the buildings depicted in this project have been demolished in recent months, further emphasizing the theme of time passing in the cycle of growth and decay.

Miss Mistress
Edition 1 of 1

This Image was created assembling fragments of different moments (or should I call it scenes) together, it captures fragments of a mysterious romance where what is right or wrong is being questioned. A business man arrives at a hotel, or is it a motel ? carrying a gift in his luggage, a woman silhouette is seen through the frosted glass of an elevator, the same woman is also seen outside in a car with lights on, she thinks, what is she thinking ? A bird is seen outside a cage at the top surrounded by a neighborhood. My intention with this image is to encourage discovery and I want you to enjoy “reading” this story paying attention to the multiple objects and high amount of details spread everywhere, you are the voyeur spectator that is being encouraged to be an investigator. Suiseki – 水石
Edition 1 of 1

In this work we have been inspired by the Japanese art of Suiseki, (“sui” means “water” and “seiki” means “rock”) which is based on the interpretation and contemplation of small-sized stone forms formed by nature without any kind of manipulation. The landscape stones, as they are also called the Suiseki are admired for their beauty and ability to suggest a natural scene or an object intimately related to nature. Traditionally they are exposed on a wooden base, a base that adapts to the contours of the stones, or on a flat tray with sand or water. The beauty of a Suiseki derives in part from its ability to suggest a scene or object. The simpler the rock, the more capacity for suggestion it will have. We have created different types of 3D stones eroded by water and we have connected them to create these three scenes that suggest multiple interpretations and evoke different landscapes and natural organic forms. We have also emphasized the use of color, textures and light so that together with the simplicity of the forms it shows a greater expressivity that incites the imagination of the observer so that it completes each scene in his mind in a captivating way.

Soft Body Dynamics 40
Edition 1 of 1

This unique digital painting is composed of eight Soft Bodies generated in the past 6 months. Since 2017, I have been making oil paintings which originate from this generative 3D process. The script I use randomly plots B-spline points in 3D space, a sort of automatic line drawing technique, putting the computer at the start of the creative process and encouraging a dialogue between myself and the machine. The interplay between digital forces and traditional media is an ongoing theme in my work. The winner of the auction will receive a high resolution video file and a Verisart certificate of authenticity.

The Keeper
Edition 1 of 1

5197×5197 px at 300 DPI mixing digital photography and 3D. At the end of the day the Daft Punk were gone and I remain at the studio with the model and the 2 helmets. This is the fourth image from the series “The Keeper”. An important series for my career that I shot with Daft Punk for Lemon Magazine. When thinking about Daft Punk I had this coming to mind: Does the intervention of machines / masks on our bodies enable us to get closer to whom we truly are? I proposed the magazine to shoot Daft Punk integrating a 3D cyborg woman into the existing pictures, thus proposing my own vision of an augmented human being. The woman being the keeper of their secret identity. Debra Shaw was the model I work with to create the body language of the cyborg woman, she was then removed and replaced by the cgi model. The series is composed by 6 images in single edition, no other copies have been sold until now and no other copies will be sold. These images will only remain in the blockchain

Self Portrait³
Edition 1 of 1

In Self-portrait³, Jonathan takes you on a journey around his studio to witness an imaginary artwork forming on a canvas sitting on an easel. 3D technology allowed Jonathan to see himself in a completely new light – in 3D, he can walk around himself as if looking at another person. Facilitating the im/possible, Self-portrait³ becomes a space where the audience can see Jonathan’s self-portrait as a 3D object, a 3D painting, and a time-lapse of the painting process, all in one piece. The artwork created in Jonathan’s virtual studio is an entirely imaginary thing, yet the ability to blur the lines and make something look like it is happening in the real world, in this case, Jonathan’s studio, is an exciting prospect to develop. Jonathan Yeo is one of the world’s leading contemporary portrait artists, known for both traditional and experimental portraiture. His sitters include David Attenborough, Malala Yousafzai, Damien Hirst, Idris Elba, Nicole Kidman and The Duke of Edinburgh. This work uses a Fair Trade Art Certificate and 25% of the artist’s proceeds will benefit YoungMinds. We only need desire
Edition 1 of 1

When did we learn to want everything? We want. We need. We want to want. We want to need. We need to want. Consequently, we both need and want to consume. This endless desiring is the productive force that drives our world. The creation of this desire cannot end, even if everything else does. This force surrounds us in an endless cycle of formation and dissipation. In this oscillation it declares itself to us and us to it, our need. It whispers gently, “There is no alternative”. In our imagination can we give form to this dream lover? Mark Titchner’s work involves an exploration of the tensions between the belief systems that inform our society, be they religious, scientific or political. Focusing on an exploration of words and language, much of his recent production has been based in the public realm both in the UK and internationally. This work uses a Fair Trade Art Certificate and 25% of the artist’s proceeds will be split equally to benefit the mental health charities Hospital Rooms and Bethlem Gallery. Obey Ideal Power Mural
Edition 1 of 1

“The Obey Ideal Power mural NFT explores different incarnations of power and asks the viewer to consider the negative impacts of certain forms of power and the social and environmental benefits of other forms of power. The work intends to provoke an honest analysis of power that should be reformed or regulated because of the damage it causes and encouragement to value the power that aligns with and perpetuates one’s ideals.” The NFT carries a Verisart Fair Trade Art Certificate and Shepard Fairey will be personally donating 25% or a minimum of $25,000 of the proceeds to Amnesty International to support their important human rights efforts. Encore
Edition 1 of 1

This piece was an expression of a beautiful realization I had.. the universe being a beautiful play, and not just a singular dimensional play but an unfolding in various levels which it plays with itself. Every character, situation and its environment is so intricately interwoven to create stories. It seems even more clear now that consciousness itself loves to manifest as a multifractal complex layered of tapestry where the characters and its environment are lost in its own performance trying to find itself through this mystic play.

There is something that lies beneath the surface, something undetected by the human eye, an abstract reality that cannot be seen or heard. Intuitions translated to images, frames, colors, sounds, words. The beauty and pain, the forgotten gift of being Human.

It’s Just A Felling
Edition 1 of 1

Animation by Pandagunda – Sound by Jonsi – The good stuff has to first come from the inside before it can materialise on the surface. It’s Just A Feeling takes the form of a human body rather than the figurehead of Within to portray the living world: the awareness of the moment and living just in the moment. Now. No worry about tomorrow or ruminating about the past. To be who we really are, to shed everything we have ever learnt, about money and bills, greed, envy, revenge. To remember the valuable gift of being human

Prayer
Edition 1 of 1

‘Prayer’ express Yuan’s wish of the inner kindness and peace that people should have for each other, expressing an attitude of treating people equally, spurning selfishness, abandoning all burdens and boundaries. Also, this work is seeking to better represent the connection between people in terms of spiritual power. The ‘huggie’ symbol is not just a purely material substance, but also intangible and abstract. The subjects of ‘Prayer’ are infinite and unlimited– it can be a religious symbol, nature, or any other subject that can receive feedback of spiritual power, including the behavior of embrace itself.
