“Ra Meandros” marks a new paradigm in my personal life, derived from a painting on my college graduation cap. Bringing in cultural influences from my Greek background as well as a hint of Egypt, I wanted to create something the reflected my personal progress, history, and the future. Both cultures have prominent representations of the eye. The Evil Eye and The Eye of Ra (or Horus), both of which can be perceived differently based on the beholder of symbol. The piece represents a ray of hope for the bright future that we all work towards and thwart the malevolence in our paths.

Detached-EP#1: The very first crowdsourced MasterPiece on the Blockchain. Original artwork by: @adxmboni. Rare digital MasterPieces created by refugees are being sold at auction to raise money and awareness of the global refugee crisis. Accomplished artists have donated special art pieces from their personal portfolios and refugees have transformed them, piece by piece, into stunning NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) that will be auctioned as the start of a limited series. Kicking off the debut of the exciting new social project called Effect Pieces is from artist @adxmboni and his original piece is titled Detached. All proceeds from this auction go towards buying computers and IT equipment for refugee centers in collaboration with the UNHCR and WorldVision.
