I am a collector and founding member of Women of Crypto Art (WOCA). I recently saw a Tweet from @anloremi looking for underrated artists to feature. There are many talented women artists who could be featured on SuperRare.

I would like to suggest a feature for Cicatrici E Baci @cicatriciebaci and her collection ‘scarkisses.’

Sylvia Black Scar
Edition 1 of 1
“You give part of Your story to me as a present. I rewrite Your story as a visual framework. The story retells itself in every human being that get in touch with it. A sight that touch, hear and taste. Always Thank You Sylvia”

We all have scars. They often remain voiceless and without recognition. The ‘scarkisses’ collection is a narrative and interactive project that tells stories of human scars; they are past wounds, embroidered into our life, experiences that have shaped and empowered us. In sharing scars and stories, we embark on a visual journey of self-discovery and create a new story we can share with the world. Those stories unfold together, while evoking emotions very personal to each storyteller.

We are everyday heroes and we should be recognized as such. Every scar deserves a crown!

Romina Red & Pink Scar
Edition 1 of 1
“You give part of Your story to me as a present. I rewrite Your story as a visual framework. The story retells itself in every human being that get in touch with it. A sight that touch, hear and taste. Always Thank You Romina”

The photo-collages are not only portraits of scars but of the healing processes. They celebrates people’s strength highlighting impressions and sensations that remain suspended from a time stolen from everyday life.
